Youth Group song on The O.C. and Death Cab dates coming soon!

Since the release of their highly touted Epitaph debut LP Skeleton Jar earlier this year, YOUTH GROUP has been gaining positive momentum.

First, the band scheduled its first North American headlining tour ever; then, indie rock darlings Death Cab For Cutie asked YOUTH GROUP to accompany them as main support for a stint out on the road in October 2005. The band later wooed press and fans alike with a stunning performance at this year's CMJ Music Marathon, and all of these events firmly set YOUTH GROUP in place as a band to watch.

This run of success further culminated when YOUTH GROUP was invited to perform a cover of the 80's pop love song "Forever Young" for use on FOX's white hot television series, The O.C. This cover was produced by Chris Walla of Death Cab For Cutie and turned out to be stellar, and the reaction to the song was equally impressive!
The song was utilized as Ryan and Marissa's "theme song" on an aired episode of The O.C. and was immediately made available as a single for sale on the Apple iTunes store! Within the first week of availability, the single chalked-up well over 5,000 downloads / sales! This is exciting news for the band and for their latest release, Skeleton Jar.
