Thursday Announce 'Common Existence' Tour
New Jersey post-hardcore innovators Thursday have announced their headlining fall US tour in support of their critically acclaimed new album Common Existence. The band will cross the country over Sept and Oct with experimental prog-group The Fall of Troy in main support and select dates with noise-rockers Young Widows and prog-rock band The Dear Hunter. Ticket pre-sales will be offered through Thursday's href="http://www.thursdaydoves.com/">Doves Club at href="https://tixx1.artistarena.com/thursday/">Artist Arena beginning July 30; public on-sales will begin August 7.
After a stellar run headlining the spring Taste of Chaos tour and a brief tour in Europe, Thursday return to the states brandishing their vigorous, must-see live set for fans once again. The band's highly anticipated new album, Common Existence, has been embraced by both hardcore fans and critics alike. Described as "a monster rebirth" (Revolver), "the band's densest, most accomplished album to date" (AV Club), "the metaphorical cherry on top of a continually solid creative output" (Alternative Press) and "the band's finest effort" (Metromix.com), Common Existence has cemented itself as one of the year's best rock releases.
