After hearing this preview of the Winnipeg band's fourth full-length, it's impossible to imagine it being released at any other time of year. It feels unmistakably autumnal, which is to say ruminative and melancholy and sheltering at least the implication of retreat. It also seems geographically anchored, even when it doesn't specify a physical place. If you listen to this track before or after virtually any other song on the album - "Elegy for Gump Worsley," say - we guarantee you'll feel more Canadian than you did 10 minutes ago.
