The Lost Patrol CD gets a great review from Meshsf.com
The Lost Patrol is ex-Refused and (International) Noise Conspiracy frontman Dennis Lyxzen's first solo effort. Far from a punk rocker picking up an acoustic guitar, this is a soulful, '70s inspired album complete with lush instrumentation courtesy of a revolving cast of 20 of Lyxzen's closest friends. Featuring piano, clarinet, organ and saxophone, among other instruments, the album recalls Van Morrison's best work. These songs give a personal look at Lyxzen's non-political life, including love, as on the beautiful "Out of Date" where he sings, "Who's going to miss me the way that I miss you?" "Alright", a duet with Lisa Miskovsky, is a song so vibrant you may be able to throw out your Prozac.
