The band just completed their 25 city Hypochondriac North American headline tour with sold out shows in San Diego, New York City, Orange County, Baltimore, Phoenix, Columbus and an appearance at Riot Fest. Additionally, The Frights are set to play at Tropicalia Festival in Long Beach, California on Saturday. Later this month, the band embarks on their first ever UK/European headline tour with stops in London, Manchester, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg. Show information and tickets can be found at TheFrights.com.

Hypochondriac was produced by FIDLAR frontman Zac Carper (SWMRS, Dune Rats), mixed by Rob Kinelski (Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, Thirty Seconds To Mars) and mastered by multiple-Grammy Award-winner Greg Calbi (Arcade Fire, Tame Impala, The War on Drugs). Throughout the album, The Frights build a brilliant tension between their shiny hooks and painful lyrics, their goofball spirit and melancholy outlook. In the end, the album unfolds as their most emotionally honest work so far.

A couple of months after graduating from high school, Mikey Carnevale and bassist Richard  Dotson got together as The Frights to play a one-off, 30-minute set as sort of a joke. The feeling they got from the crowd in their hometown of San Diego inspired them to become a “real” band, almost in spite of themselves. Along the way, they recruited Marc Finn (drums) and released You Are Going To Hate This (also produced by Zac Carper) in February 2016. Jordan Clark (guitar) added to the band's musical prowess in the ensuing year of touring around North America. Having recently completed a 25 city Hypochondriac North American headline tour, The Frights can’t wait to play their new material on their UK/European tour later this month.
