Social Distortion, Bad Religion & Descendents To Play GV30
Gary Tovar and Goldenvoice are set to celebrate 30 years promoting live shows with GV30 - three nights of blistering Southern California punk performed by the very bands who helped propel the organization out of the seminal LA scene. The shows will be headlined by three revered Epitaph Records related artists with celebrated rock and roll rebels Social Distortion, thought provoking and groundbreaking punk band Bad Religion and influential melodic punks The Descendents. Each night will also feature an assortment of iconic and beloved bands including X, The Adolescents, TSOL, The Dickies and more.
As Tovar explains, "The artists and line-up for these special shows were chosen to reflect the bands that embraced and were instrumental in building Goldenvoice from day one. Like us, they had just the right screws loose. Because of their support past and present, Goldenvoice was able to flourish and become a part of the Southern California music scene. These bands took a chance on us 30 years ago, and continue to be a big part of what we do today. We are excited for them to help us honor our first 30 years! "
These special shows with take place at the historic Santa Monica Civic Auditorium this December. Tickets will go on sale this Saturday November 5th.
