In an unprecedented worldwide exclusive, Decibel delves deep in the psyche of one of the most important hardcore bands to discuss the making of their prophetically titled album. For the first time since their breakup in the late '90s, the entire band has come forward to talk about the trials and tribulation of recording the album that ultimately led to the demise of the band.

Decibel's visually striking cover re-creates the album's landmark artwork for a never before "Hall of Fame" feature on the front of the magazine.

Decibel Excerpt:

After the breakup, the quartet issued a legendary press release that demanded that newspapers burn all their photos of Refused and vowed not to "give interviews to stupid reporters who still haven't got anything about what we are about." Now, 12 years after the release of The Shape of Punk to Come, they've finally agreed to revisit the most painful chapter in the band's history.
