Rancid Announce Headlining Tour Dates

The influential and unruly punk rock institution known as Rancid has just announced a limited series of West Coast headlining dates to follow up their previously publicized shows with friends Blink 182.

The band - which consists of Tim Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (vocals, guitar), Matt Freeman (bass, vocals) and Branden Steineckert (drums) have stated that these performances will be an ideal way to "help us to get our chops up before going into the studio with Brett Gurewitz to record our eighth album."
