Nekromantix to re-issue 1994 classic, Brought Back To Life!
(Hellcat Records, Los Angeles, CA) Danish psychobilly kings, NEKROMANTIX dip into their deep, dark back catalog and ready a re-issue of their 1992 classic, Brought Back To Life! This re-issues stands to occupy NEKROMANTIX fans while the band works on material for a brand new album.
Scheduled to hit streets on October 11th, Brought Back To Life is the album that put THE NEKROMANTIX on the map and put the rest of the music scene on notice that psychobilly was here to stay. The album was so well received, it was nominated for a Danish Grammy Award in 1993!
Featuring fourteen tracks of punk-bitten frenetic psychobilly, each song features blistering guitar riffs, rapid-fire drums and their signature slaps and taps of the ever-dense stand-up bass. Atop this creepy cacophony sits varied vocals that range from doo-wop crooning to hardcore screams. The original album artwork was also designed by lead singer/bassist Kim Nekroman!
The subject matter is always macabre in nature and steeped in "B" horror movie lore! Exploring the dark side has always been a signature of the band, and Brought Back To Life is the quintessential example of the band's creepily unique style!
