NEW ALBUM EVEN IF IT KILLS ME STREETS SEPTEMBER 18; BAND KICKS OFF SMALL CLUB TOUR OF U.S. JULY 5
New York, NY - Critically acclaimed pop-rockers Motion City Soundtrack recently finished recording their third album for Epitaph, titled Even If It Kills Me. The band spent the winter in New York City recording the follow-up to their sophomore album Commit This To Memory, which has gone on to sell more than 260,000 copies. For their new record, which is scheduled for a September 18, 2007 release, the band recorded two-thirds of the album with Fountains Of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger and former Girls Against Boys member Eli Janney producing at Stratosphere Studios in Chelsea. They then finished the album with legendary Cars frontman Ric Ocasek producing the final third of the record.
The first single off the new album, "Broken Heart" will be released on June 26th worldwide through all digital outlets. A video for the first single will debut a few days prior to the release on motioncitysoundtrack.com.
