Epitaph proudly announces the signing of Scatter The Ashes!
Nashville's own SCATTER THE ASHES has officially signed with Epitaph. Comprised of singer Daryl Stamps, guitarist James Robert Farmer, bassist Matt McCord and drummer Dillon Napier, SCATTER THE ASHES have been playing together since 2001.
Honing the ethereal and ambitious qualities of Joy Division and the sonic intensity of Refused, SCATTER THE ASHES will release their Epitaph debut in mid-2004. Currently, SCATTER THE ASHES can be found alongside such artists as Thursday, Thrice, Andrew W.K. and The Bronx on the Island Records compilation "Hard To Get Volume 1," as well as featured in the Screamo 101 feature in the current issue of Entertainment Weekly's Listen 2 This supplement.
Scatter The Ashes drummer Dillon Napier commented, "Epitaph is our ideal label. We couldn't have picked a better place to be. It's really a dream come true."
Epitaph owner Brett Gurewitz commented, "Epitaph is stoked to have signed Scatter The Ashes."
