Dropkick Murphys singer Al Barr released from hospital!

Dropkick Murphys singer Al Barr was hospitalized 10 days ago with severe stomach pains. He has been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery after some minor surgery and bed rest. Unfortunately his sudden illness meant the band had to postpone their Japanese tour. Those tour dates will be rescheduled once Al has been given a full bill of health and is well enough to travel on the long flight from Boston to Japan. Al asked us to post this message for him - "I would like to thank all our friends & fans for their thoughts and kind wishes. I am really sorry we had to disappoint our Japanese fans and know we will make it up to them soon. I am down but not out and hope to see you all when our US tour starts in a week".
