Big Talk To Perform On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Album Premiering Now At ABC.com
Killers' member Ronnie Vannucci is set to debut his highly anticipated new solo project entitled Big Talk this July 19th via Epitaph Records. Stepping out from behind the drum kit of one of the biggest bands of the past ten years, the talented multi-instrumentalist and accomplished songwriter has crafted an album of exhilarating pop perfection.
Remember the revelation when Dave Grohl unveiled Foo Fighters, his secret, under-the-radar project? Prepare to be astonished all over again: the radio-friendly, rock club-shaped soundtrack to the summer is on its way. Produced by Vannucci along with Joe Chicarelli (The Strokes, My Morning Jacket), and mixed by Alan Moulder (U2, Foo Fighters) Big Talk perfectly combines new and classic elements to create an energetic and engaging sound certain to please Killers fans and the uninitiated alike.
Big Talk will be making their live television debut performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on July 25th. Fans can also stream the Big Talk album care of ABC Music Lounge by going href="http://abc.go.com/music-lounge/musicplayer2">here>, starting today.
And in anticipation of the record's release date, Big Talk will be playing some selected west coast live dates beginning July 20th in Las Vegas. It is a prospect that genuinely thrills Vannucci. "Everything I've written is more or less written with the live aspect in mind, he explains. "Maybe that's from being a member of a live band. I'm thinking what would really make me smile if I saw a show?"
